2 May 1787 - PHILLIP MEW to JESSE COBB of Dobbs County, N.C. for 100 pounds, 
133 acres which was patented to FREDERICK BECTON and transferred to MEW on 9 
Oct. 1770, on South side of Neuse River at JOHN BECTON'S line and another 
tract at SAMUEL LAMBERT'S on Main Road and MOYES' line which makes total 
acreage 194 acres. Witness: JOHN ISLER, JR.
