Seeking info on Mathias CRAWFORD and his wife Abia DEANS Crawford. Mathias was born about 1837 and died in prison in Elmira NY after being captured at Fort Fisher. He was in Company F of the Confederate Artillery. Does anyone have any info on Mathias?

Researching the following families: MORRIS,ELMORE,IVEY,CRAWFORD, DEANS,DAVIS,POPE,COX,LANCASTER,PIKE,TILTON, MAUDLIN. Especiallylooking for help on the following: William POPE and wife Delphia. Both died in Wayne County in 1869 without leaving wills. Based on Census records, both were born about 1814. They had 8 children: Zilphia (married Isaac COLLIER), James, Benjamin, Simon, Mathew, Jesse, Levy, and Delphia. Does anyone have anything about William and Delphia's parents, etc? I'd be happy to share info.
